Windermere Golf and Country Club Wedding

From the minute I met Tracy and Cody, I knew their wedding day was going to be a breeze. They’re one of the couples you know just belong together – they laugh and move so comfortably in sync with each other. When considering their venue, it was obvious. As members of the Windermere Golf and Country Club, they already spend so much of their time there, why not get married there as well?

Towards the end of September, the weather was already starting to turn cold, and Tracy and Cody wanted a portion of their portraits to take place indoors. Thanks so much to the Browns Socialhouse Windermere for allowing us into their sweet space for some photos and drinks! It made for some truly unique, modern photos that I absolutely love. Can all venues have those gorgeous Edson lights please?!

We were so pleased to be able to catch a beautiful sunset over the course before their reception began, especially after such a cloudy and windy day! One of the most heartwarming parts of the day is always my favourite – wedding speeches! Some people might find speeches boring, but is there anything better than sitting and listening to your loved ones tell you how much they love you and how happy they are for you? The night ended with a crowded dance floor and great music from Fozzie (who also brought back the cute Starburst favours from the US) and I just loved watching Tracy and Cody’s son Preston run circles around them on the dance floor.
