I fell in love with photography during my school years, and especially when I was given my Gido’s 35mm film camera when he passed away. I received my Photographic Technology diploma in 2014 and ever since, have been helping couples in love all over the world capture their relationships and wedding days in a light that honours them best.
From a young age, I have also adored books. Getting whisked away into magical worlds and experiences of others has always been intrinsic in my life, and I believe that falling in love with stories and falling in love with photography were just meant to be (and pretty much the same thing).
Documenting and sharing stories through still images, pausing moments in time while simultaneously creating heirlooms for the future.. this will always and forever be one of my greatest joys.
When I’m not adventuring, travelling and photographing the best wedding days ever, you can usually find me at home, in my coziest sweatpants, reading fantasy novels, playing board games and video games, baking, drinking mochas, cuddling with my dogs, and living my best homebody life with my homebody husband.
After graduating, I have since trained under some of Canada’s most sought-after photographers. My work has taken me to amazing cities like Paris and New York, and I’m so grateful to be able to share the love stories of so many wonderful couples from around the world. I am based in Edmonton, Alberta – available for destination weddings worldwide.

DO IT your way
My husband and I eloped to New Zealand on our eleventh year together, hiring the photographers of our dreams. We spent the day being shown the best parts of the south island, eating sandwiches from the grocery store in our orange creamsicle of a rental car, and exchanging our rings and saying our vows under the shadow of Mount Aoraki as the sun set. We ended the day under the most dark, clear, magical stars. We spent the rest of the trip frolicking around the Shire like the nerds we are, stargazing from our Airbnb, and trying to identify all of the native birds (are we going to become bird watchers in our old age? Honestly…probably). We did the thing I encourage every single one of my couples to do – we did it our way, and no one else’s.
We have absolutely zero regrets about what we included and what we decided to leave out of our wedding day. We took with us what we wanted, said goodbye to many, many traditions along the way because they didn’t serve us, and had the best two weeks of our lives.
You don’t have to elope to a foreign country to feel like that, though. Your way isn’t my way, your aunt Suzie’s way, or anyone else’s way. You are getting married to celebrate your relationship and do it in a way that feels right to you.

We’ll schedule a call (over the phone or Zoom) and we’ll have a big chat about what you’re envisioning and value most. I’ll be able to answer any questions you may have and get to know you better!
2. I’ll assist with planning

after booking, you’ll receive access to my exclusive resource guide. Using the knowledge I’ve gathered in 10+ years of photographing, it dives deep into things you may have not considered, and things that you might not have known would affect your photos and timeline.
VENDOR RECOMMENDATIONS:
Over the years, I’ve been able to build great relationships with so many people in this industry. Trust me, you’re in great hands with these friends.
CUSTOMIZED SUGGESTIONS:
Questionnaires will be sent so that I can get to know you both so much better and gather important information about your wedding day.
ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS:
If you’re having an engagement session with me, it’s a great opportunity to see what being in front of my camera is like. It’s also an opportunity to create images that feel like you in your every-day life – just with a little more romanticizing thrown in there! A fun couples questionnaire will also help us plan a session that is comfortable and unique to you.
TIMELINE ASSISTANCE:
We’ll keep in touch throughout the planning process! Using information gathered in my questionnaires I’ll be sending, I’ll help you create the timeline for your wedding day. We’re not only planning for the perfect lighting for your photos, but to make sure you’re spending time with the people you love most and actually LOVING and EXPERIENCING your wedding day!
3. enjoy your day!
This is where all of our planning comes to fruition. The only thing you need to do on your wedding day is relax, spend time together, and be yourselves. I will be there for you, documenting the story of your first day as a married couple as it unfolds. Just be present in the moment and let me take care of the rest!
4. the photos
I’ll send you two a small gallery of high resolution images within 72 hours of your wedding day so that you can continue floating on that just-married high and share them with your family and friends. I’ll be getting to work on the rest of your gallery, with your final collection of images being ready within 12 weeks.
5. albums & prints
I will create a beautiful custom album design that will tell the story of your wedding day. If you choose to order an album, you will be able to customize the cover and make any revisions you’d like. You, your family and your friends will be able to order as many prints as you’d like from your easy-to-use online gallery, and the two of you will have printing rights included in your collection.

Whether far away or close to home, eloping is always a special and romantic way to celebrate your relationship. It can be a way to save some money for your future together, get away from more difficult family situations, to symbolize chat your marriage is simply about your love for each other, or simply to have an amazing, unique experience. Remember that just because you choose to elope doesn’t mean that your family can’t be involved too! Being able to hold your memories in your hands is something that I’m so passionate about. I have such fond memories of going through boxes of my family’s loose photos, film prints, and photo albums. From seeing the film photos my mom captured of my sister and I, to learning to photograph on film, transitioning to digital to take a thousand photos of my friends and I in junior high (that should never see the light of day again if I’m being honest haha), to now: hanging my own wedding photos all over the walls of my home and photographing lifetime memories for incredible lovers that are going to live on for literally generations. There’s just that certain je ne sais quois that holding physical memories provides, and I can’t wait to be able to give you a little bit of that magic.
These albums are the more modern version of those old family photo albums you may remember – ones that you’re definitely not going to want to stash away in a dusty old box! With gorgeous archival inks printed onto some of the best photo paper that will withstand the test of time, luxuriously touchable fabrics, and custom cover designs, you’ll want this out on display all of the time – all the better to look at it again. And again. And again.

frequently asked questions
01. how many photos do we get?
Since every wedding is so unique, the number of photos varies, so I don't guarantee a certain number. For an 8 hour wedding, the average gallery will contain anywhere from 500-800 photos (average of about 75-100 photos per hour of coverage).
02. how long does it take to receive our photos?
The delivery of your private, online gallery will be approximately 10-12 weeks after your wedding date. Your images will be meticulously edited, and this process takes time. I never want to rush your memories!
03. is the engagement session included?
Engagement sessions are included in collections 1 & 2.
If you are booking less than 10 hours, you can add one on separately for $600 + GST.
04. we want to take our engagement session on the road...
You are welcome to upgrade your engagement session! Destination engagement sessions are automatically upgraded to an extended documentary storytelling session which includes more time spent shooting, more images, and even more fun!
$1900 + GST
This pricing includes travel for Alberta locations. If you would like to move your session outside of Alberta, a new quote will be made for you based on your destination.
05. do you charge travel fees?
If your wedding is outside of the Edmonton city limits, travel fees will apply. While travel fees can change and are calculated based on each individual location, here's what you can usually expect for weddings within Alberta:
• $0.68/km round trip for weddings more than 45km away from my office.
• 1-2 nights of accommodations depending on the location, session duration or wedding collection
Destination weddings and engagement sessions outside of Alberta will receive a custom quote with travel included.
06. do we receive the raw files?
I do not distribute RAW files. You are choosing a photographer based on style, and my editing is what gives my photos their distinct look and feel. A popular misconception is that RAW solely means "unedited". Although this is also true, you do need professional programs to even open RAW files in the first place. Asking for the RAW files is quite like asking your wedding cake baker for the ingredients only!
07. we're so awkward in front of the camera! what do we do?
You are very much not alone! I think every single person who has been in front of my camera has said this to me, and you truly do not have to worry about a thing!
I don’t like to think of it as ‘posing.’ I’m not asking you to be someone you aren’t or hold poses for an indefinite amount of time. I don’t want to feel like I have to entertain, and I certainly don’t want you to feel like you have to perform. It’s important to me that you feel like yourselves. When you feel comfortable, your photos will show that! Trust me though, I know how awkward it can be to stand in front of the camera, which is why I like to call my approach ‘directional storytelling.’ I’m going to always position you in the best light and tell you if your hands look awkward! But I’m not about the ‘stand there and hold this exact pose and smile at the camera!’ Sure, we’ll get a traditional shot for the grandparents (the famous ‘fridge photo’), but I will always allow you the time and space you need to relax, feel comfortable, and focus on each other. I strive to create a space where everyone feels safe to be themselves.
No matter what direction you choose to take your session or portrait time in, the best things you can bring with you are trust, openness, love, and excitement! Have fun, love on each other, and let me do my thing.
08. do you charge for overtime?
Yes. Every additional hour past what is initially booked is $650/hour + GST.
09. do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! I understand weddings can be expensive and budgets are tight. After the contract is signed and the initial retainer/booking fee is paid ($1500), the remainder of the payments can split into as many smaller payments as you need. All payments must be complete by one week prior to your wedding day. If you would like to set up a payment plan, just let me know!
10. do you shoot film?
If you have a request for film, please let me know! I shoot film for my personal family use, and if you'd like me to bring a roll or two on my 35mm for the day, I'd be happy to. Additional fees for the hard cost of film, development & prints may apply.
11. do you cover other wedding-related events?
Absolutely! Whether it's adding coverage for documenting your intimate rehearsal dinner or even your fun-filled bach trips to Nashville, I'm here for you! Mention it on our consult call and I'll include a quote for it in your proposal.
