Kimmerly Backyard Barbecue Stagette & Shower

When I was contacted to photograph a stagette, I really had no idea what it was going to be like. It’s never something you hear people hiring photographers for, but I was excited to see what was in store. It sounded so down to earth and right up my alley, I had to say yes. Rather than head to the bar with 30+ people, a backyard barbecue was planned for the bride’s stagette party. Lisa had mentioned to her friends that she wanted someone to take pictures all day, but that would mean one of her ‘maids would have to be behind the camera the whole time. Kellie and her fellow friends and bridesmaids hired me without Lisa knowing – it was a complete surprise! With beautiful decorations DIY-ed from Pinterest, waffles, and mimosas, the day was so laid-back and full of joy as friends came together to help a bride to be celebrate her first steps into a new life.
