I spent an early April afternoon with fellow photographers Lauren and Kaihla for this session, and it made me realize just how important it is to let the creative juices flow. Over the past couple of months, I’ve been feeling like I’m stuck in a rut. Even though I was constantly shooting throughout school, nothing drained my creativity quite like pushing out assignment after assignment, just for the sake of getting things done. It was repetitive, and it made me feel exhausted. During my work experience with Kaihla, I was finally able to just relax and try new things. I am so thankful to Kaihla for scheduling these sessions – she helped me find my passion again. Now I’m more excited than ever to photograph images like this!
