They say that money cannot buy love or happiness, but I can’t help but disagree. $300 bought me an adorable lab mutt who would have otherwise been birthed into a dirty alley or in the middle of nowhere. In the process, we also happened to gain a companion who shows so much love and excitement, and has the smarts of an adult human with the heart of a child. She reminds us to not sweat the small stuff, to love unconditionally, and to approach each new situation with as much excitement as you can.
